We are so thankful for each of our sponsors who stepped up to support our Aces for Kids event!! Events like this simply would not happen without people and businesses who believe in our youth and choose to invest in their future. Because of you, we are creating opportunities, changing lives, and building brighter futures for the youth who need us most. We are beyond grateful for each of you and proud to have you standing beside us for our Club and our community.

Please join us in celebrating the 2026 Alabama Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year, Evie Ragan-Scott!
For the past ten years, Evie has been an incredible part of our Club, growing into a confident leader, mentor, and role model. She has enthusiastically participated in STEM as both a mentee and mentor, competed in Jr. Chef, and found a true passion for performing through show choir and theater.
Evie’s love for the arts has earned her impressive recognition, including the Alabama Youth Theatre Experience All-Star Award and the National Youth Theatre Experience All-Star Award. She has also placed in multiple competitive categories, showcasing her talent, creativity, and dedication to performance.
Now a sophomore at Ariton High School, Evie continues to lead by example. She has served as a Chapter Officer for four years and currently holds the role of 2025–2026 Alabama FFA South District Sentinel. Combining her leadership skills with her passion for agriculture, Evie created and taught her own class, Supervised Agricultural Experience, where she guided younger members through hands-on activities like making homemade butter and invited local farmers to share real-world insights about the importance of agriculture.
Evie aspires to become an agricultural lobbyist, motivated by her passion for advocacy and inspired by leaders who work to create meaningful change. In every space she enters, whether academic, artistic, or leadership-focused, Evie consistently strives to give her very best.
We are incredibly proud of Evie and honored to celebrate her achievements. Congratulations, Evie!

We invite family and friends of current members to join us for our Young Entrepreneur Market on May 15th from 4:00–5:00 PM in the Gym!
Our Club members have been hard at work creating and running their very own businesses and now it’s your turn to check them out!
This market is completely run and stocked by our youth, giving them the chance to showcase their creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial skills.
Bring your friends and family and come explore all the amazing items available, including:
Fresh Produce from Teen Center Garden
3D printed fidgets
Cake pops
Freeze-dried candy
Handmade jewelry
…and so much more!
Come support our young creators, celebrate their hard work, and maybe even find your new favorite treat or treasure!

We were completely SURPRISED at Rotary by the Wiregrass United Way Prize Patrol!
We were awarded funds to help repave the Teen Center parking lot AND provided funds for cafeteria tables for our food program so our kids have a place to eat when weather keeps us indoors.
We are so incredibly grateful to the Wiregrass Foundation & Wiregrass United Way! Great futures don’t happen by accident… they happen because of community partners like YOU!
THANK YOU for believing in our kids and in our mission!

Congratulations to our Youth of the Month, Vinh and Brynleigh!
These two consistently go above and beyond by helping their peers, showing kindness, and setting the standard for excellence and hard work every single day. Their positive attitudes and leadership make a difference in our program, and we are so proud to recognize them for their outstanding example!
Keep up the amazing work, Vinh and Brynleigh!

BEE-ware this summer for fresh produce and honey. A couple of students in the Beekeeping program got the chance to finally explore their Bees. They gave this hive a much needed upgrade into its new hive box! Thank you Wiregrass Foundation for making this possible!

Our members knocked it out of the park with their Earth Day project this year!
They created an incredible “Re-Play Arcade” entirely out of recyclable materials for our younger members to play and enjoy. Over the past two months, six teams worked hard to plan, sketch, build, decorate, and bring their ideas to life—then led younger members through their games!
The creativity was amazing, with games like soccer, football, fishing, pool, basketball, and even a shark-themed ball toss. Each project was judged on structural integrity, design and decoration, functionality (including moving parts), teamwork, and member enjoyment.
We are so proud of every team for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. The Re-Play Arcade was a huge success and a big hit with everyone involved!
Congratulations to all our participants and winners!

Our Club members created and published A Little Love, a book that follows Savannah’s journey from growing up in the Boys & Girls Club to becoming the 2025 Alabama Youth of the Year and using her platform to inspire others across the state.
This book is more than a story...it’s a reminder of what happens when kids are given a place to belong, grow, and lead.
Here Savannah Share about her story here: https://www.wtvy.com/video/2026/04/16/news4-morning-mingle-boys-girls-club/

The Boys & Girls Club C.A.R.E. (Community Asset Recognition Effort) Award recognizes individuals, businesses, or partners who provide outstanding in-kind or direct support to local clubs.
The Dale County Sheriff's Office's commitment to the Boys & Girls Club goes far beyond a badge. Sheriff Mason Bynum personally swore in a Club member as the “Sheriff of the Butterfly Garden” and continues to stop by to check in, creating a powerful mentorship experience that members will never forget. Deputies regularly visit the Club to build positive, meaningful relationships with youth and remain just one call away whenever support is needed. They generously give their time and manpower to assist with the Club’s major fundraiser, and most recently, the entire team dedicated two full days to pressure washing, trimming trees, and beautifying the facility grounds.
Their partnership is hands on, heartfelt, and unwavering, and the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Alabama is stronger and safer because of their continued support
