Welcome to Summer 2026

Field Trip Money

Please send all money in a sealed envelope with the following information clearly written on the outside:


  • Member’s first and last name
  • Member’s age
  • Field Trip Date
  • What the money is for: Field Trip Destination, Kidz Cafe, Food Truck, Ice Cream Truck, Special Event, etc.
  • CASH ONLY


This helps us make sure all money is properly tracked and applied

We will only accept money for field trips during the week of the trip or the Friday before the following week. Please do not send in more than one week’s worth of field trip money at a time.

Kidz Cafe

The Kidz Cafe is available at both the Youth & Teen Center. Members may purchase snacks, drinks, and other items ranging from $0.35 to $3.00.


Youth Center members may keep money in a Club account to help keep their money safe and secure. Please send all money in a sealed envelope labeled with:


  • Member’s first and last name
  • Age
  • “Kidz Cafe” written on the envelope 
  • Amount enclosed

VBS Information

Pick Up/Drop Off Information

The Boys & Girls Club will be partnering with local churches to help transport members to Vacation Bible School this summer.

Important:

Members will not have breakfast at the Club before leaving for VBS each day. Please make sure your child eats breakfast before arriving.

Counseling Services

Counseling services are available during the day at the Club in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.


Services offered include:

  • Group counseling by age groups
  • Boys counseling group
  • Individual counseling
  • Family counseling


Insurance is billed for some of these services.

Medication

Coaching A Better Reader

If your child needs to take medication while at the Club, written documentation from a parent/guardian is required.


Please note:


  • Club staff are not allowed to administer medication.
  • All medication must be clearly labeled.
  • Instructions must include dosage and times the medication should be taken.
  • Medication will be safely stored in the Admin Office away from children.

Our Summer Literacy Program includes Short the Squirrel activities and is designed to encourage members to continue building their reading skills throughout the summer. Literacy lessons will take place throughout the summer. During the first two weeks of the program, most members will be assessed using the STARR assessment to help determine reading levels and track growth. Members are encouraged to read both at the Club and at home and to keep up with their reading log (download below).  We will finish the program with an end-of-summer celebration to recognize and celebrate our top readers.

Spots are limited, and members must be seriously committed to participate.


To remain in good standing and be eligible for performances or special events, members must attend at least 75% of rehersals/lessons.


Members and parents may be held liable for any damage to equipment if it is intentionally damaged or damaged due to horseplay or misuse.

Our Beekeeping Program at the Teen Center gives members a hands-on opportunity to learn about bees, pollination, hive care, and the important role bees play in our environment. Members will gain real-world experience while working safely under trained supervision and learning responsibility, teamwork, and environmental awareness.

Camp Invention is a fun, hands-on STEM summer program where members will explore science, technology, engineering, and creativity through exciting activities and challenges. Campers will build inventions, solve mysteries, launch rockets, experiment with physics, and work together to create innovative ideas.
